Attorney Brown began her legal experience as a law student working with the District Attorney’s office in the Sixteenth Judicial District where she earned a wealth of knowledge and trial experience. She later began her legal career by opening her own law firm, where she has developed a reputation for her work ethic, trial skills, compassion, and aggressiveness.
In addition to her private practice, Attorney Brown serves as Guardian Ad litem for Clay County, Lee County and Monroe County. She also serves as the Clay County Youth Court Public Defender as well as the West Point Municipal Court Public Defender. When time permits, Attorney Brown serves as Of Counsel with the Cochran firm in their Mississippi-Delta office.
Attorney Brown is a member of the Mississippi Army National Guard. She enlisted in March of 2003 and has served the military for almost 19 years. She has completed two military deployments, Operation Enduring Freedom, 2005 and Operation Iraqi Freedom, 2009. Attorney Brown is a member of Joint Forces Headquarters of Jackson, MS where she currently serves as a member of the Judge Advocate section. Attorney Brown plans to retire in March of 2023.
