Social Security & Disability

If you or your loved one have a condition, disease or disability that limits or significantly impairs your ability to work, you may be eligible to receive government assistance in the form of Social Security Disability Insurance benefits (SSDI). SSDI provides cash benefits on a monthly basis for persons who are totally disabled. In most cases you must be suffering from a condition that has or will prevent you from being employed for at least twelve months or a condition that will eventually result in your death.

In Some instances, you may qualify for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) if you meet strict financial guidelines. Supplemental Security Income benefits provide for the basic needs of those who cannot work because of age, blindness or a disability. When you are disabled, you have rights to these benefits.

Since applying for Social Security disability benefits can be a difficult process, a disability attorney may increase your chances of being awarded benefits by helping accurately and favorably complete the complex paperwork, ensuring that all deadlines are met, and providing you with representation at a hearing with an Administrative Law Judge. A denial at any one level or a past denial, may not disqualify you from receiving benefits.

R. Brown Law Firm is dedicated to aggressively fighting for you, protecting your SSDI rights at every stage, from filing an initial disability insurance claim through any necessary Social Security Disability Insurance appeals. Give us a call

What are my attorney fees?

Attorney fees in all Social Security Disability cases are based on a percentage of any amount recovered with a maximum fee amount that can be charged established by the Social Security Administration. The Social Security Administration must approve any and all attorney fee requests.
